Sherman’s March

Lots of urban planning left undone in downtown Atlanta but cosy hotel set the travelers up for some overdue exercise, not to mention a change of clothes. Exit polls in Alabama express preference for a pederast over a Democrat ( they believe it and don’t care): the eleventh commandment. A good meal in prospect and strong drink will be needed to forget the geographic adjacency. Still, maybe this Faustian bargain will come at a national price .

The remains of the third day

However they have a large outdoor hole in the ground that will be an option

Went to a nice place for brekkie and crossed our fingers that the Alabama pederast doesn’t get elected today

Our plan is that flipping Flynn gets Pence and Deutsche Bank puts the groper in a jump suit

Today we stop just driving south to go west and take a turn towards Atlanta. Change of clothes, exercise and work coming up!

Palazzo DeLemos

Ian started the day by going out for coffees so I woke later without the help of the dental drill effect of yesterday

Then we met Gen to inspect their emerging palazzo. Next time they plan indoor plumbing…

~500 views in the last few hours from more than 9 countries : live feed from the Nobels from Amita. Jeff Hall didn’t wear his hat.

A few last views of Andrew and Mikela ( the dog) , the general mob and a final Ural

Delighted there is no coffee machine in the bedroom tonight so a calmer awakening beckons

But first, to sleep

Urals in Charlotte

A mountain to climb – two groups of voyagers converged in Charlotte chez Gen and Andrew

A chance for Nonno to see Ben and Maddie before Xmas and for the boys to compare notes with Yvonne and Franno , more seasoned travelers as they head towards Tierro del Fuego in their Ural, road tested by the Wermacht and then the Red Army from Berlin to Stalingrad and back

I couldn’t resist a test moment in the saddle , first with Ian , then with Ben
